How can I redeem my School Savings Bonus voucher from the Victorian Government?

The School Savings Bonus vouchers from the Victorian Government can be applied to your Edrolo purchases for Daily Plus courses and textbook.

Please read this article to ensure you get the maximum value from your School Saving Bonus vouchers.

Edrolo textbooks and courses you can purchase with vouchers

• Years 7-10 Maths

• VCE Units 1-4 Biology, Business Management, Chemistry, General Mathematics, Legal Studies, Physics and Psychology. All of these courses include a full digital textbook

Edrolo courses that do not include a textbook cannot be redeemed using the vouchers - these courses are referred to as Edrolo Daily. This restriction is due to the Victorian Government only allowing vouchers to be used for limited purposes, including textbooks.

Before you apply your vouchers with Edrolo

Before you use your School Saving Bonus voucher/s with Edrolo, please ensure you complete the following:

• Open the Payment Portal and check the value of Daily Plus and Textbook products. Excluding “Daily”.
  
  
• Verify the amount for eligible items and claim the value of vouchers that best matches this.

How to use your School Saving Bonus vouchers to purchase Edrolo:

1. Log in to your Edrolo account and head to edrolo.com.au/payment. You can view here any compulsory or optional courses/ textbooks that you can purchase.

2. To apply the School Saving Bonus vouchers, you will need to first calculate how much your SSB subjects will cost in 2025.

3. To calculate this amount, check the value of any products in your checkout that are labelled as "SSB" products as shown in the image below. Exclude any ‘Daily’ courses. Daily courses are not covered by the School Saving Bonus program.

4. Once you have calculated the amount you want to cover using vouchers, go to the Victorian Government School Saving Bonus parent and carer online system.

5. At the School Saving Bonus online system, select "Edrolo" as your school’s nominated supplier and select the amount of Daily Plus or textbooks funds you will need for your purchase.

   • Please note that the vouchers will not apply to Edrolo Daily or non-textbook courses. Please review your voucher details carefully before confirming your allocated funds as these selections cannot be changed or reversed.

6. You should then receive your valid Edrolo voucher with a code that contains "ED" in the voucher number.

7. Now, head back to edrolo.com.au/payment where you will see a field at the bottom of the screen to enter your voucher information, as shown in the screenshot below.

8. You can use the Edrolo voucher, provided through the School Saving Bonus program, to offset the cost of your purchase with Edrolo.

9. Enter your voucher number and follow the prompts on screen to finalise your purchase as shown in the image below.

Please note:

• You are able to use a voucher until all credit is used, up until 30 June 2025.
• There are 2 key steps in the voucher process - claiming your voucher on the Victorian Government portal, and then using your voucher on the Edrolo platform.
• The Victorian Government School Saving Bonus portal does not allow changes or returns of vouchers once they are claimed with a provider - this case, Edrolo.
• Edrolo only receives the amount successfully redeemed when you complete a transaction on the payment portal. Unused voucher amounts are not held by Edrolo.

• Schools can still nominate Edrolo to be redeemed for the School Saving Bonus. To nominate Edrolo, school will need to contact the DoE.
